Garden of Eden began with the serpent and the rich green and gold color palette. From there, I started layering vintage pieces around it and letting the composition take shape.
Vintage foliage, sculptural flowers, sparkling rhinestones, and green onyx all found their place around the serpent. I wanted each element to add something to the piece without taking attention away from the main focal point.
I’ve always enjoyed using symbolism in my work, and Garden of Eden gave me so much to work with. I especially love all the small details throughout the necklace—there’s always something else to notice when you look a little closer.
